Just got this earlier today from Davis. The plan was to hook it up to my ancient Bose System 5 and get a better sonic experience when listening from YouTube or YouTube.
Turns out the Aux in cable I’ve been using all these years is really all I need to work this little gadget. What a waste of $8 to buy a new 3.5mm to 2RCAs cable!
I found the sound too bassy when playing YouTube videos. The different volume levels of each video didn’t help. Of course there are too many factors that may have caused this. The cable quality and length, the video’s audio quality and what not.
At the end of the day, I’m just an old school guy who prefers slotting in a CD and pressing the Play button.
*Apologies for the poor photos and crazy amount of dust. It’s indeed a bear cave here. 🙂
