After the introduction of layered walnut in the 100 Series, Taylor has updated the 2017 214ce with layered koa back and sides to replace the out-going guitars with layered rosewood b/s.
Yet another affordable channel to owning a koa guitar, although buyers who previously forked out a premium for the 214ce-K DLX may have some grounds to be unhappy. 🙂

The 57/08 pickups are now for sale on their own. Sticking these into an SE or S2 sounds like a worthy upgrade if you don’t want to break the bank in buying a high-end PRS.

Great performer. She has great taste in guitars too. That’s a nice K24ce in the acoustic video and other times she has a Delaney custom made “Fishocaster”.
Oh, she has a Blacktop Tele as well. Cool.
To commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Custom Shop, Fender has brought eight of their original Master Builders to “let their imaginations run loose and design the ultimate guitars”.
The guitars will be released monthly and each will be limited to 30 pieces world-wide. Expect high premiums for such works of art. That J.W. Black Strat is pure Stratheaven.

Joyo has added the Iron Loop pedal to their Ironman range of mini pedals.
The new looper allows up to 20 minutes of recording and should be good for users who like to keep their pedals from the same brands/series.
