Chapman Guitars have launched their new website and introduced several changes to their lineup.
Pro vs Standard
It is worth noting that Chapman guitars have created the Indonesian made Standard Series and upgraded the (current/outgoing) Korean made ones to what is now called the Pro series.
Some niceties that are found in the Pro Series include Hipshot tuners, strap-locks, glow-in-the-dark side dots and hardcases.
The Standard Series are not too shabby at all as they also share features such as rolled fretboard edges and dual-action truss rods with the Pro Series.
ML1 Traditional (Pro and Standard)
The new ML1 Traditional Pro knocked Guitarbear out of his chair. These bad boys now come with a more familiar 250mm fret radius so players who were previously wary (myself included) of the flatter fret radius on the outgoing models can rejoice.
Both the White Dove and Natural finishes are so cool. Wow.
Chapman’s interpretation of the iconic Flying V is done so tastefully. Thumbs up.
The Rabea Massaad Signature has a lovely padauk neck with volute and ebony fretboard. Totally stunning looks with an interesting pickup combination too.
Definitely checking them out soon.
