Following up on last year’s release of the Acoustasonic Telecaster, Fender has announced the Acoustasonic Stratocaster for Winter NAMM.
Like its Tele sibling, this one has a mahogany body and neck construction, topped with solid spruce top.
Electronics are made in collaboration with Fishman and packs plenty of “models” and switches for the 3-pickup configuration.
There’s always some skepticism when it comes to hybrid instruments that rely heavily on electronic parts, but this sure seems like a great idea for that ONE guitar that plays everything.

What I’ve heard so far sounds incredible. I like the way the Tele looks better than this one, but wither one would be really cool for anyone doing a one man thing with different styles.
And talking about one man operations, any live stuff lately?

Hey Juan, unfortunately, I haven’t been doing much lately. Kinda feel that I’m lacking some key element. Ironically, my one-man-shows seem to sound quite boring. Perhaps it’s time to look for a lead guitarist to partner up and cover up for my inadequacies.:)
